Terms of Service
Welcome to DigiPsych. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DigiPsych’s website, telehealth services, and related technology platforms (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
To use DigiPsych, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must also reside in a location where we are authorized to provide care. All users must complete our initial clinical screening to determine whether our services are appropriate for their needs. DigiPsych reserves the right to determine clinical fit and may decline to provide services if your condition falls outside of our scope of care.
2. Scope of Services
DigiPsych offers psychiatric care and mental health services exclusively via telemedicine. Our services are designed for low-acuity behavioral health conditions and are not suitable for emergency or crisis situations. All consultations are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. We do not offer in-person evaluations, and all care is delivered remotely.
3. Emergencies
DigiPsych is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, you should immediately call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Our platform is not monitored in real-time and should not be used as a substitute for urgent or life-threatening needs.
4. Privacy and Data Security
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal health information. All communications, data storage, and medical records are handled in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). For more detailed information on how your data is collected, stored, and used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
5. User Responsibilities
By using DigiPsych, you agree to provide accurate and complete personal and health information. You are responsible for attending scheduled appointments on time and communicating clearly and respectfully with our providers and staff. Inappropriate behavior, including abusive or threatening language, may result in termination of access to the Services.
6. Payment and Fees
DigiPsych does not accept or bill insurance providers. Payment is collected at the time of your appointment. You may request a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance carrier, but we make no guarantees regarding coverage. Missed appointments or cancellations with insufficient notice may be subject to a fee, in accordance with our cancellation policy.
7. Telehealth Consent
By using our Services, you consent to receive care through telemedicine. This includes psychiatric evaluations, follow-up visits, medication management, and communication via video conference, text, or secure patient portals. You understand that telehealth has limitations and risks, including technical failures, which may impact the quality of care.
8. Intellectual Property
All content available on the DigiPsych website and platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and other materials, is the property of DigiPsych and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the site or its content without prior written permission.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically to stay informed.
